Download the official XPrinter drivers for your operating system. Ensure you download the correct version before proceeding to the hardware setup.

Before installing any software, your hardware must be physically connected to avoid USB detection errors during the setup wizard.

• Plug the power cord into the adapter, and connect it to your printer.
• Connect the USB printer cable directly to your PC (avoid USB hubs for maximum stability).
• Turn the power switch ON. You should hear a startup beep and see a solid green light.

Extract your downloaded driver file and run the setup application.

• Right-click the .exe setup file and select "Run as Administrator".
• Accept the license agreement.
• Select your operating system (it usually auto-detects Windows 10/11).
• Select your specific printer series (e.g., 80C for standard 80mm printers) and click Install.

This is where 90% of installations fail. You must assign the correct USB port so Windows can communicate with the printer.

• In the installer window, click the "Check USB Port" button.
• The printer will automatically print a small receipt displaying its assigned port (e.g., USB001 or USB002).
• Select that exact USB port from the dropdown menu and click OK.

Verification: Once configured, go to Windows Start Menu > Printers & Scanners > Manage > Print a test page to confirm your setup.
